The Visitor - Mick Fleetwood

So, in the process of listening to the visitor currently. Will have a review soon; I realize that this album is $70 as an import, and no one will pay that, but thought I would post the link anyway. This album was one I've been looking for for some time as it's been out of print. Essentially Mick Went to Ghana in 1981 after Mick Fleetwood (but before Paul Simon and Graceland) to record this album.

More details as I review.

so I'm getting into this album now, and while I still don't think it has the cohesiveness that Graceland does (which is of course where the inevitable comparisons will be), I think it has an interesting polyphonic texture to it; which one would expect from an album derived of African music. I will continue to listen to this, but it seems to have a nice ambient quality, like you could have it on and not really think about the fact that it's on. Not overly distracting. Worth a listen, don't know if it's worth an own. Notable additions to the album include Lindsey Buckingham, Peter Green as well as George Harrison.
